The hood is the largest removable panel on a car, which is why carbon delivers its most noticeable weight saving here. Replacing the factory steel panel with a carbon one cuts the mass over the front axle by tens of percent, and that directly affects suspension load and how the car behaves in corners. Vents help additionally by extracting hot air from the engine bay.
Our hoods are produced from pre-preg in an autoclave, so the panel has a flat surface without waves and does not deform from engine heat. The inner frame follows the factory structure, preserving torsional rigidity and the original hinge and latch points. On request we either leave the weave exposed under clear coat or paint the panel in body colour, keeping visible carbon only in selected zones.
Frequently asked questions
Why is pre-preg better than regular carbon?
Pre-preg is cured in an autoclave under pressure and heat, so the matrix has almost no voids. The part is stiffer, lighter and more stable in sunlight than hand-laid alternatives.
Does carbon fade in the sun?
The weave is protected by a UV-stable clear coat. With normal care the surface keeps its colour for years; we recommend abrasive-free washing and periodic protective coating renewal.
How long does installation take?
A complete kit is usually installed within one working day at our Kyiv workshop. Individual parts take a few hours.
Will the part fit my exact car?
We match parts by make, model and body generation. Send us the VIN or registration document and we confirm fitment before payment.
How does delivery to other cities work?
We ship parts in protective packaging with instructions for your installer, and our manager stays available during the fitting.
